JOIN A Playgroup: * Once you find a playgroup that interests you, leave your comments in the "Contact Members" section of the event card. * Make sure to check the box to "Receive email updates if another comment posted" so that you can get messages from the organizer or other members. Leave this box blank if you would rather not receive emails, but make sure to check the website frequently for changes. START A Playgroup: * Register for free at PlaygroupToday.com. All personal information is strictly confidential and will not under any circumstances be given to any third parties or to potential spammers. * Add your playgroup description and event details and see them posted immediately on the playgroup list page. * Check your playgroup periodically to see if people have expressed interest in your event under the "Contact Members" section. Respond and confirm with members via the event message board or you may exchange contact information. Be aware that all information is public and can therefore be accessed by anyone on the internet. Therefore, you may want to keep emails and phone numbers private. * Update your playgroup anytime there is a change. * PlaygroupToday.com may contact you periodically after event is created to see that the listing is still active. This is to prevent inactive posts from clogging the system. MANAGE A Playgroup: * Log on with your user name and password and update your playgroup anytime there is a change by going to the "Manage your Playgroups" section and selecting the playgroup you want to edit. * Correspond with members of the playgroup or new members inquiring about an event by using the "Contact Members" message board. Common Questions Are there any fees to belong to PlaygroupToday.com? * PlaygroupToday.com is a free service for anyone to use. Events can be posted by anyone on the internet and therefore PlaygroupToday cannot verify the authenticity of any listing or listee. * Some hosts to certain events may charge a fee or request participant's to bring something to the event. All financial transactions are between the host and the participant's and have nothing to do with PlaygroupToday.com. I want to drop-in to a playgroup to see if I like it.
